Niche Physio

Niche Physio and Pilates – what we’re all about!

Niche Physio and Pilates is a Physiotherapy Clinic run by experienced Clinicians, Alexia Catenacci and Carly Macfarlane. We wanted to create a safe and supportive environment where people feel as though they are treated like family. We want patients to walk through our door knowing they are not just a number. We are not your usual ‘one in one out’ physio clinic. We care about empowering individuals to live their best life in their best bodies. We are a boutique, bespoke clinic offering world-class services next to none. Our vision is to build and grow with you!

Our ‘Niche’ physio clinic is located in the heart of Mount Hawthorn. We offer a supportive, wellness environment for people to feel motivated and empowered to get better and to be better. We hope to provide a rehabilitative space that you just want to be a part of, whilst still providing clinical and professional advice.

We can also help you with acute and chronic injury diagnosis and management, post-op surgical protocols, injuries at work with compensable claims and motor vehicle injuries. We offer a unique combination of Pilates, a well-known exercise therapy, with a physiotherapist's medical and injury background knowledge. Combining these two approaches ensures people that who are recovering from injuries begin to move safely again.

Services include but are not limited to:

  • Acute injury management

  • Post-surgical management such as orthopaedics

  • Deep tissue therapy

  • Dry needling

  • Joint mobilisation and manipulation

  • Exercise prescription and education

  • Chronic pain and injury management

  • The utilisation of Pilates equipment for rehabilitation and ongoing maintenance of injuries

  • Semi-private classes in the form of Clinical Pilates (3:1)

  • Small reformer group exercise classes (6:1)

  • We also service private patients, Workers Compensation claims, Motor Vehicle claims, DVA patients, NDIS patients and EPC patients
